| Nominating Committee: |
| The Nominating Committee,
appointed by the President of the congregation, selects candidates for
each elective position. They are required to contact and secure
approval of each candidate before placing his/her name on a
ballot. The list of candidates must be published two weeks prior
to the October Voters' Assembly meeting. |
| Auditing Committee: |
| The Auditing Committee,
appointed by the President of the congregation, audit the books and
records of the Treasurer and report their condition to the congregation
at the next regular Voters' Assembly meeting. |
| Human Resources Committee: |
The Human Resources Committee
is comprised of the Vice President and the Chairs of the Boards of
Elders, Trustees, Worship, and Education. The Pastor is an
ex-officio member of this committee. The committee is responsible
for:
Developing and implementing
policies related to salaries and benefits for called, contract, and
non-called church employees, subject to review and approval of the
Church Council.
Developing and implementing policies for hiring,
evaluating, and terminating contract and non-called church employees,
subject to review and approval of the Church Council.
Developing and maintaining a Job Description Manual,
subject to review and approval of the Church Council.
Hiring contract and non-called personnel as required
to fill a vacancy of an existing position or to fill a position that has
been previously approved by the Voters' Assembly.
Terminating contract and non-called workers for
unsatisfactory performance or whose services are no longer needed. |
| Counting Committee: |
| The Counting Committee,
appointed by the Financial Secretary, counts and records all collections
and offerings and reports the results to the Treasurer. |
